Cumberland Ale 4.0% ABV (4.7% ABV in 500ml bottle)

A superb golden coloured ale, brewed with malt made from specially selected Maris Otter barley and using only the finest English aromatic hops.

Jennings Bitter 3.5% ABV also in 500ml bottle

A distinctively darker bitter, with a really moreish taste and a very drinkable strength – it makes the ideal session beer.

Sneck Lifter 5.1% also in 500ml bottle

Cocker Hoop 4.6% ABV

An award-winning golden bitter from an all malt brew, with Styrian Golding hops added at various stages, to give a classic hop flavour and aroma.

Seasonal Ales

No its not what you think! Cross Buttock takes its name from a well known Cumbrian Wrestling throw. This well balanced all malt bitter is rich in colour with a classic hop character that is both refreshing and satisfying.

1828

Brewed to commemorate 175 years of brewing, 1828 is now a firm favourite in the Jennings guest ale programme. A crisp golden yellow ale with fruity, citrus hop aroma from carefully selected English hops.

Golden Host

'I wander'd lonely as a cloud that floats on high o'er vales and hills, when all at once I saw a crowd, a host, of golden daffodils'- William Wordsworth. A full flavoured, golden bitter, brewed using Maris Otter barley and all Goldings hops a generous handful of crystal malt has been added along with Fair Trade golden granulated sugars, giving a delicate flavour and subtle aroma.

Stickle Pike

Stickle Pike (Pike o' Stickle) - 2,323 feet high you will most definitely need a beer when you reach the top of this famous Lakeland fell. A refreshing light golden bitter with an aroma of toffee and caramel; complimented by a malty, slightly sweet finish and bursting with delicious citrus and blackcurrant flavours derived from the use of traditional English hop varieties

Honey Bole

A beer with a definate sting in the tale- Honey Bole is a light straw coloured easy drinking ale made with classic English Hops. Its delicate honey flavor is enhanced with the late addition of Fair Trade granulated sugars.

Tom Fool

Said to enjoy the odd tipple, Thomas Skelton the ghost of Muncaster Castle is still fooling around today. His favourite beer, named after his good self; is a golden amber ale with all the characteristics of a light mild.

Crag Rat

The nickname is given to a particularly enthusiastic climber in the Lake District - Crag Rat is a refreshing golden coloured beer, brewed using pale ale malt and two classic varieties of English whole cone hops. The perfect beer for the enthusiastic ale drinker.

World's Biggest Liar

Sheds made out of turnips - Nonsense! A dark golden brown coloured bitter with a chocolate toffee and roasted malt aroma. A biscuity flavour with a dry hop finish. A fantastic beer- and that’s no lie.

Redbreast

'Art thou the bird whom man loves best, the pious bird with the scarlet breast'- William Wordsworth. Brewed with two English whole cone hops and natural coloured malt giving a chestnut red hue to the beer. Redbreast drinks with a full flavour and a warming glow.
