BREWING UP A STORM
Jennings are responding to a 28% increase in demand by installing three new 150 barrel fermenters on Saturday 30th June. The equipment, which represents a £250,000 investment, mean that Jennings can step up its brewing capacity by 40%. While the new fermenters will mainly be used to increase the production of Cumberland Ale they will also increase Jennings ability to develop new guest ales.
NEW BOTTLE INSPIRED BY CUMBRIAN FELLS
Jennings have released a novel green bottle inspired by the fresh green fells, the home of Cumberland Ale. The unique bottle has been included in a handy four pack containing the genuine taste of the Lake District, Cumberland Ale, Sneck Lifter and Cocker Hoop. Jennings famous Cumberland Ale is the only brew to receive the innovative bottle; the other ales in the four packs have had a refresh with a newly designed label.
YOU
ALWAYS KNOW WHERE YOU ARE WITH JENNINGS
Jennings Cumberland Ale, the famous Cumbrian beer, is sponsoring
Geo-trails, a service aimed at helping make sure fell
walkers always know how far they are from refreshment. Geo-trails
use a GPS (Global Positioning System) system that offers walkers
a range of walks between 10 pubs in the district. The walks
are challenging, fun and something of a treasure hunt - each
route contains the exact position of 10 caches that you have
to locate. At each cache, you have to answer a question correctly
to prove you were there.
