Keswick's jazz festival continues to be a mecca for world class traditional and mainstream jazz. 2010 will see the return of many British favourites including Alan Barnes' Enrico Tomasso' James Evans' John Hallam' Keith Nichols' Spats Langham and Tom Kincaid joined by another impressive international contingent. From America come New Orleans trumpet stars Gregg Stafford and Duke Heitger' legendary banjoist and vocalist Jimmy Mazzy' New York trombone virtuoso Jim Fryer and pianist/vocalist extraordinaire Jeff Barnhart.
Matthias Seuffert is Germany's supreme reedsman while Holland's storming young Oriental Jazzband return by demand. 110 jazz events crammed into four days are covered by a single ticket. Optional extras in the mornings are three jazz talks by top musicians and new for 2010' dance workshops led by Ian and Sheilagh Hartley' aka GI Jive
