Worlds Biggest Liar 2008
Details: The contest dates back to the 19th Century where Will Ritson(1808- 1890) a Wasdale landlord became known for his tall tales. As Cumbria’s original biggest liar' the competition is now held annually at the Bridge Inn' Santon Bridge. The champion liar for 2008 is John ‘Johnny Liar’ Graham six time- title holder .
