Bridge inn at santon bridge always had 3 Jennings beers on tap. Last time I was there only Cumberland. Bar manager was telling me he was ordering from Jennings and cannot get other beers so horrible marston stuff on former sneck lifter and cockahoop taps.

Snecklifter was one of my favourite ales too, I was gutted when I found out it wasn't being made any more.

Odd to understand the thinking at Jennings Brewery these days. No one understands the renaming, so much so that throughout Cumbria they have to have a tag on the Bitter pump saying what its old name was while lots of the vans drive around with the old range on them still. The best two beers - the legendary/award winning Sneck Lifter and Cocker Hoop are no more. Used to love a spot of Crag Rat too. We always used to head straight to Jennings pubs when walking in the Lakes now we generally don't bother as there are so many other great inventive Cumbrian breweries now and if you want to drink Cumberland you can do so anywhere in the UK, you don't have to visit Cumbria for it. It is all so so sad.
Bring back Sneck Lifter!
