Sneck Lifter wins North West heat CBOB

Published on 02/10/2017

A couple of weeks ago the Crewe Rail Ale Festival was host to a regional heat of CAMRA’s Champion Beer of Britain competition. The heat was for North West England’s ‘Strong Mild & Old Ale’ category and the clear winner from a panel of judges who carried out blind tastings was Jennings Sneck Lifter.

Jennings Head Brewer Jeremy Pettman said: “This is a fantastic achievement and a great honour for both the brewery and the brewing team here at Jennings”.

Sneck Lifter will now go against other Strong Mild and Old Ale winners from other regions in the UK in the next round of the Champion Beer of Britain 2018.
