The ‘World’s Biggest Liar’ competition, was a much-loved event held annually, in which participants attempted to tell the most convincing lie without using pre-made scripts or props. There was just one rule - Lawyers and politicians were barred from taking part as they were classed as being professionals in telling porkies. World’s Biggest Liar ended in 2019 when the Jennings site closed. Today, the re-established team at Jennings are bringing many elements of Jenning’s colourful history, and the return of this competition is part of that task, reviving a much loved and hilarious evening to be part of! We will also see the return of the World’s Biggest Liar celebratory beer, which will be available in both bottles and cask. As Buster, Jennings Head Brewer has done with many of the revived Jennings Ales, the World’s Biggest Liar beer will be coming from the old recipe books.
