What an opening weekend Jennings had. After months of hard work, planning, and more than a few pints along the way, we finally opened our doors on the 3rd of July 2025 for our Back Yam party and we couldn’t be more grateful for the warm welcome we received.
From the first pour to the last cheers of the night, your support made our opening weekend one to remember. With our official public opening just the day after on the 4th, the Taproom was buzzing all weekend and full of lots of happy faces to see Jennings back on the bar. We were accompanied by good weather and a chance to try out our new terrace seating area on the riverside.
Seeing the space come to life with friends, families, familiar faces, and new ones was something truly special. Whether you stopped by for a quick pint, stayed for the live music, enjoyed good food or just came to check out what we’ve been brewing, we’re glad you were part of it. The vibe was exactly what we’d hoped for - relaxed, fun, and full of good beer and even better company.
Congratulations again to our Lifetime membership winners who were nominated by the local community for being a local hero and Jennings enthusiast, always looking out for the town of Cockermouth and keeping the Jennings spirit alive.
A huge thank you to everyone who’s supported us so far - from sharing a post, picking up an eight-pack, or simply cheering us on behind the scenes. This brand has always been about more than just beer; it’s about community. And that weekend, you proved that ours is a strong one.

We’re just getting started, and we’ve got a lot more in the works. But for now, we’re raising a beer to all of you. Thanks for making our opening weekend a success. We can’t wait to welcome you back soon - same place, same good beer, always chilled.
